For this special broadcast, Radio Ruit invited some talented selectors to turn a blind eye to dancefloor material, granting us a glance into the softer and more unconventional b-sides of their collection. Next to these selectors, we present two live shows, drifting from ambient soundscapes to tender electronic love songs.

Radio Ruit presents: Jennifur
Jennifur, a Belgian producer and DJ, creates electronic love ballads that live in the space between head and heart, control and surrender. His music is an exploration of the hidden - the thrilling and the melancholic - capturing moments of transition, like the suspended time of a car ride between Point A and Point B. It’s introspective yet cinematic, weaving narratives for those navigating the search for motivation, connection, solitude, and love. His sound bridges Indie Rock, UK Bass, Electronica, and Classical influences, with tracks that feel like scoring a romcom.

Since debuting in 2022 with Nowhere, Now Here - a soundtrack created for the video game Shredders - Jennifur has continued to evolve his artistry. His 2023 LP, Things Don’t Change Until They Do (Sweet Sun Records), explores the bittersweet nature of growth and memory. Now, he’s in the studio crafting his third album, further pushing the boundaries of his signature sound.
